What is the MOPS Program?
MOPS provides a complete Engineering Report, suitable for submission to the Florida DEP for permitting. You simply provide us with the answers to a few simple questions most easily accessible via the form on our website, www.emops.com. Typically within a few days, we e-mail you a complete Engineering and Design Report and an AutoCAD drawing covering all design and calculation aspects of your pump station application.
MOPS are applicable for pumping sewage, effluent, stormwater pumping, and industrial wastewater pumping.
Atlantic Environmental Systems, Inc. is the originator, designer and holder of all copyrights and trademarks for the MOPS program. We are a licensed engineering company registered with the state of Florida, thus we can provide consulting engineers with signed and sealed drawings and design calculations for any MOPS pump station.

We frequently research lift station design details and provide this information to the consulting engineer. Such items include force main pressures, existing and new required flow rates, optimization of wet well diameter vs. depth, and difficult installation recommendations.

After we assist with the design aspects of the pump station we then provide competitive pricing to the project owner or to the site contractor of his choice.
MOPS pump stations are the highest quality on the market! They feature heavy-duty reinforced fiberglass wet wells or HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) wet wells, as preferred by some consulting engineers and/or local utilities having jurisdiction in the area.
MOPS pump stations include features required by the latest state of Florida standards as well as the “Ten State Standards”, such as odorless design features built in throughout the pump station, explosion-proof pump motors and intrinsically safe control panel design features, battery back-up design for all control panel alarms. A cellular phone RTU (Remote Telemetry Unit) for 24/7 notification of station problems is used for stations monitored by Atlantic Environmental Systems. (AES)
MOPS pump stations are available in the widest variety of sizes, from small simplex residential type (such as 2' or 3' diameter) and up to large duplex municipal types (in diameters from 4' up to 12' and depths from 5' up to 30' deep and more, as required). Available pumps range from grinder pumps (2 HP up to 16 HP) and non-clog pumps (4" to 8" discharge, 1 to 50 HP and larger).

Our MOPS Service Department maintains and services nearly 150 sewage pump stations from
Homestead to Stuart. These MOPS stations are located at a wide variety of installations, such as shopping centers, churches, post offices, universities, schools, department stores, condominiums, septic tanks
and housing developments. For all of these pump stations our Service Department provides regular maintenance and service, as best suits each installation. Additionally, we provide 24/7 on-call services for any kind of emergency, power failure, or pump failure. Our excellent service has enhanced the reputation for MOPS as being the highest quality, most reliable wastewater pump stations on the market. During Hurricane Wilma (Oct. 23-24, 2005) power was lost for most of our service area (over 1 million were without power from Miami-Dade County to Martin County),
for up to 2 weeks.
During this time MOPS customers were assured of continuous service because the MOPS service technicians were there to keep their pump stations pumping!
PUMP BACK-UP POWER SYSTEMS
THE ONE GENERATOR SYSTEM THAT OPERATES ONLY WHEN THE POWER IS OUT AND THE WET WELL LEVEL IS HIGH. IT RUNS FOR WEEKS WITHOUT REFUELING.
Typical MOPS Generators 45KW & 60KW 3 Phase. Available from 8KW to 150KW & up, 1 or 3 Phase. Generators are complete, self-contained and weatherproof.
MOPS exclusive Control Panel and Automatic Interface Panel – The Generator ONLY runs when the power is out and the wet well level is high, thus running a few hours per day rather than 24 hours, allowing typical propane fuel tanks to last for weeks, not days, on one fill!
WITH THE MOPS AUTOMATIC BACKUP POWER SYSTEM, THE GENERATOR ONLY RUNS WHEN THERE
IS SUFFICIENT WASTEWATER IN THE LIFT STATION TO REQUIRE THE PUMPS TO OPERATE. THE REMAINDER OF THE TIME THE MOPS GENERATOR DOES NOT RUN. IT STARTS AND STOPS AUTOMATICALLY WHEN REQUIRED. THE PROPANE TANK CAN OPERATE THE MOPS SEWAGE PUMP STATION FOR TWO WEEKS OR LONGER WITHOUT REFUELING. NO LARGE FUEL TANKS ARE NEEDED AND THERE IS NO SEARCHING FOR A WAY TO REFILL YOUR TANK RIGHT AFTER AN EXTENDED POWER OUTAGE.

- Monitors the main power
- Monitors the wet well level
- Starts the generator when BOTH the power is out and the wet well level is high
- Allows the generator to warm up
- Transfers the control panel power to the generator
- Starts and runs the lift station pump(s) until the wet well is pumped down
- Stops the pumps at low level
- Allows the generator to cool down and stop
- Resets to be ready for the next time it is needed
- Automatically tests the generator, if preferred, on a preset time basis

THE PORTABLE M.O.P.S.
(MANUFACTURED ODORLESS PUMP STATION)
is designed to be installed on top of the ground with the low, round section able to fit underneath standard trailers and mobile homes. The station provides a stable and secure duplex grinder pump system with up to three 4” gravity fed inlets. Typical power required is 1 Phase/208-230VAC, and the pumps can each deliver flows to 40+ GPM and pressures to 40+ PSIG.
The Portable odorless M.O.P.S. design is easily installed or moved when required.
Typical installations include jobsite office trailers, portable school classrooms, mobile homes, etc.
